Core Desired Feelings light, pukka, audacious, sensuous

Specialty yoga, intuitive coaching, writing, speaking

About Me

Yoga chose me. I am infinitely grateful. I'm passionate about helping people live their yoga bliss daily, even if they can't make it on the mat daily. Desire Map is a wonderful tool for that!

I'm an author (newest book: “Alchemy of Yoga: Living yoga off the mat”), a yoga lifestyle coach, author, speaker, host of The Whole Being Zone, and Desire Map Facilitator and a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. I love to infuse ancient wisdom with pragmatic woo-woo in applicable, fun, and slightly irreverent ways to optimize wholeness. I have a BS in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University and a MA in Applied Community Change and Conservation from Future Generations Graduate School. You can find some of my writing in Huffington Post, Yogadownload, Elephant Journal.

Most people describe me as weird or wonderful or wonderfully weird depending on if you stick around long enough to get to know me. I adore elephants, rubber ducks, bubbles, sunshine, gardens, magic, good food, dogs playing and being in my kayak on the water in the summer. I'm still working on being patient, but yoga has gifted me the ability to be calmly tenacious. It is a life mission of mine to surrender the need to take myself so seriously. Some days I'm successful.

Q & A

Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?

Congruent, connected, orgasmic, playful, ease

Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?

I love to work on this between my birthday (mid December) and New Year's Eve. It helps me plan for the new year, take stock of the current new, and set the intention for moving forward.

Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.

For so long I did what I thought I had to do to be safe, accepted, and loved. The problem was that just made me angry and resentful. When I started following my CDF's, I felt free.

Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?

Because yoga teaches us how to feel again and The Desire Map teaches us how to get specific on how we WANT to feel and how to move forward toward feeling that way.

2017 Goals With Soul

Led By: Wendy Reese
The word "resolution" is rooted in a beautiful idea that's nearly 700 years old: in Latin, it means the process of reducing things into simpler forms.
Mmmhmm. We've gotten lost on the way to New Year's resolutions, didn't we?

There's a much better way to create the year you want. No baggage, less striving. More freedom. Instead of relentlessly pushing yourself to achieve goals, you do work that feels clean and nourishing from a Soul level. And you can do it in a supportive community while cheering each other on.

You don't need resolutions.
You need a revolution.

When we drift from the fiery clarity of our core desires, we wade in the muck of trying to be good enough. It doesn't work.

A soul-connected resolution isn't about trying to create a new-and-improved version of ourselves. It's about loosening our grip. Letting go of what has ceased to serve our fullness.

When we're uncompromisingly clear on how we desire to feel-the unnecessary stuff gets stripped away and the path to making stuff happen opens up.
That's the hidden joy of resolutions: they're meant to be revolutions.

Get your year started on a sacred note.
We are going to:
  • get to the soul of how you want to feel in 2017
  • identify a handful of goals or intentions that are aligned with your core desired feelings and create a plan to support them.
  • come up with a sacred self-care plan that works for you
What you'll get:
  • The Desire Map in your choice of ebook or audiobook
  • Goals With Soul: audios, interactive+printable workbook, 12 monthly check-in sheets
  • The Alchemy of Yoga: Living yoga off the mat audiobook
  • A Daily Desire Yoga Practice
  • Yoga Nidra recording
  • Private Facebook community with monthly "office hour" calls.

Smaller chunks. A little each each. We meet-up online, check in, dive in, and create a focus for the week.

Less striving. More living. A holiday self-care prep

Led By: Wendy Reese
You have a say in your life.

What comes into our cupboards and closets, what goes into our bodies, the people with whom we spend our free time, the gifts we give, how we worship, the thoughts we focus on. Clutter is a choice. Anger is a choice. Resentment is a choice. But so are spaciousness, flexibility, laughter, compassion, tenderness, and resilience.

Choosing to lean into the feelings you most want to feel is one of the most powerful things you can do with your life. Choosing YOU is the most empowering choice you can make.

"Less striving. More living." is a body + soul limbering mini-retreat to provide the tools you need to get through the holidays with ease and grace. We get straight to the heart of the matter: How do you want to feel? You will walk away with your Core Desired Feelings and use those to guide your life decisions in your career, your body, your creativity, your relationships, and your spirit.

This workshop incorporates yoga, mindfulness, soul limbering exercises, and self care practices. Includes workbook.
